A Girl grows in Portland.

Miss Asae Dean, a director based in Portland, Oregon, got in touch with me saying she’d love to direct What Every Girl Should Know. I was so peached I squealed and ran a lap around my apartment. She’s holding a reading first on September 13th at Backdoor Theater, in conjunction with her production of How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel. If you are in Portland, do go! The play is hella fun just to read aloud. I’m excited to hear what they do with the diaphragm scene… ; )
