Scouting.

I’m in New York for a scouting trip. At least, that’s what I call it. I’m going to pay little visits to all the places I’ve heard tale of–Ars Nova, The Public, SoHo Rep, The New Group, Playwrights Horizons, Ensemble Studio Theater, New Dramatists. I’m going to slip into their lobbies and sit on their benches and test out their cushions. And I will buy a Diet Coke, and a ticket (if I can afford it), and chat with the lovely person in the box office, whoever they might be.

I’m looking for good ground.
